
How do you know your burning calories? lol?
How do you know your burning calories? everything you do burns up? Like walking? running? but how do you know your REALLY burning it? is there like a slight heat coming from your stomach when you touch it? is there a signal? lol i just want to know if im doing it right..
Also… I don’t understand cholesterol…. calories…. sodium fat…. lipids…. what are they? are they fat too? is calories the fattest? i dont get it because i see those writings in the back of the food and just want to know what they are for .
here’s a brief explenation:
-calories are actually the amount of energy a food provides for the body, they are used for every single activity (even breathing, thinking, pumping blood, etc.)
-the first calories your body uses for energy come from carbohydrates (found in bread, sugars, pastas, rice…)
-when there is no more supply of them, it starts burning the fat, which are actually lipids (found in nuts, oils, egg yolk, etc.)
-proteins are the main building blocks of muscles, but if a person starves, its body starts using them as a fuel (found in dairy products, meat..)
-sodium fat comes from salt (sodium chloride)
