What Happened

If there was ever a catastrophic night at a dinner party[that u know of] thrown by the Queen,what happened?

The queen of course has always had many ppl around the world she’s invited as dinner guests–perhaps even somebody YOU KNOW! If you or someone you know of had the honor of being her guest and were witness to ‘nothing going right’ at the Buckingham Palace dinner event, what on earth happened?
Was the staff nice? Was dinner host pleasant? What was the entire dinner party like according to their experience?

I remember reading about one royal dinner disaster. It was during a state banqute held at Buckingham Palace

When the queen gets to stand up from the dinning table, a footman or butler will pull her chair away for her.
During one dinner the footman thought the queen was about to stand up, so he pulled the chair away.
The queen then went flying backwards from the dinner table landing on her royal backside.

Apparently all the guests and even the queen found it hilarious.
(I would most definatly imagen her mother would have)

The story never said what happened to the footman but i rather susupect if he wasnt fired he wasnt allowed to help during dinner anymore

There are some good books out there about what goes on behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace.
There was a story that 3 gay butlers were caught in the bath together once.
And then another that 2 of them were arguing outside the Queen Mum’s sitting room.
She is surposed to have shouted “When you two old queens are quite finished, this old queen would like a drink!”
Then there was the Queen Mum’s famous Ali G impression at the christmas dinner table at Sandringham.
