What’s the difference between learning from a guitar or piano book?
i taught myself how to play both guitar and piano…
but i want to learn how to read the actual music and notes.
so if i learn from my guitar book, should i still get a piano book?
does it make a difference? how much more info would the piano book tell me that i wouldnt no from the guitar book? thankss!!
it is best to get both a guitar book and piano book. guitars read in trouble clef, and piano music contain both trouble clef and bass clef. it takes awhile to memorize both clefs, but i think you will get it. http://www.musictheory.net/index.html is a web site that will help you with all the basics of learning to read music. and its 100% FREE
