Is he a good character to play in Peter Pan the Musical?

If i was cast a John Darling in Peter Pan, would that be a good enough part or is he a very small role to the musical, small like he isnt in it very much at all, like one or two scenes

In terms of male characters john is one the best characters. Peter pan is usually played by a woman, hook is probably the best, the lost boys are on stage alot But Not 1 in particular has that many lines, same with the pirates. John basically introduces the whole show so yes it is a very good part
