How do you upload images into Little Big Planet?

I have images on my hard drive already but cannot find any menu item in the pop-it where I can grab those. How do you upload images from your hard drive (not from eye toy) into Little Big Planet?

You Can‘t actually.
This feature has not been implemented in the game and there is no planning in doing it in future. (Sony may decide to do it at some point using a patch.)

Right now, using PS Eye is the only way to import images in LittleBigPlanet.
